Kimberly Feese is the Director of Pharmacy for the St. Joseph Health market, encompassing pharmacy services at two acute care hospitals, St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital and College Station Hospital and three critical access hospitals in Caldwell, Navasota and Madisonville. She earned her Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland and her Masters in Healthcare Administration from New England College. She has diverse management experience in many pharmacy settings including community, long-term care, critical access hospital, and acute care hospital pharmacy with responsibilities including oversight of operations, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, automation optimization, multidisciplinary collaboration, 340b programs, budget management and purchasing.

She enjoys spending her free time with family, especially her four adorable grandchildren.

Dr. Jones received her Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency in Tucson, Arizona at the Southern Arizona Veteran’s Affair Health Care System. Afterwards, she returned to her home town and joined St. Joseph Health as a clinical staff pharmacist in 2010, advancing to the role of critical care pharmacy specialist in 2012 and then clinical pharmacy manager in 2016.

Jessica is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist with specialized interest in critical care and infectious disease. She leads the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and Pain Management Program at St. Joseph Health, as well as facilitating Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee meetings. Her clinical practice involves multidisciplinary rounding with the trauma surgery/critical care multidisciplinary team and well as being a member of Critical Care Committee, Cardiac Service Line committee, Maternal-Child Committee, NICU Multi-disciplinary Committee, and Nutrition Committee. Additionally, she is engaged in pharmacy practice development on a national level as a contributing member to CommonSpirit System Clinical Pharmacy Team, and Infectious disease/ASP System Clinical Pharmacy and Critical Care System Clinical Pharmacy subcommittees.

She is an adjunct clinical assistance professor at Texas A&M University Rangel College of Pharmacy, precepting students in infectious disease and trauma/critical care rotations. She also serves the university by being a participating member of Experiential Education Committee and Preceptor Advisory Committee.

In addition to her passion for pharmacy, she enjoys watercolor painting, tailgating at Aggie football games and spending time with her family.

Dr. Harvick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Houston. In 2012, he joined St. Joseph Health as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist, and since 2014, he has served as Pharmacy Operations Manager at St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital. As pharmacy operations manager, he is responsible for pharmacy workflow, staffing productivity, process improvement, medication safety, and regulatory compliance. He is a graduate of the Six Sigma Lean Black Belt program and involved member of our Process Improvement team, teaching lean processes and leading others through process improvement projects.

Additionally, he is an adjunct assistant professor at Texas A&M University Rangel College of Pharmacy and precepts students in pharmacy administration, advanced institutional pharmacy, and introductory hospital rotations. His interests center around leadership development, management and process improvement.

Derek enjoys various sporting activities, driving winding roads, and, most of all, spending time in the outdoors.

Dr. Varickattu received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from MCPHS in Boston, Massachusetts after initially earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Manipal College of Pharmacy in India. She is currently licensed to practice pharmacy in Texas, Michigan, and Ontario, Canada. Jency is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist as well as a certified ASHP Sterile Compounding Instructor.

Her clinical practice is specialized in critical care and trauma, as well as contributing in multidisciplinary rounding with stroke services and palliative care team. She serves as an integral member of the Critical Care Committee and the Pain Management Committee.

She enjoys her free time taking evening walks with her husband and learning Odissi, an Indian classical dance.

Dr. Weston received with BS in Pharmacy at the University of Houston, followed by a Masters in Hospital Administration, and completed pharmacy residency program at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 1980-1982. As an antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, he was the recipient of the ASHP Best Practice Award in 2010 for being a contributing member of the Center for Antimicrobial Stewardship and Epidemiology (CASE): Improving Patient Care through Clinical Service, Teaching and Research. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy and teaching interests in adult cardiovascular surgery, critical care and infectious disease. He is major contributor to clinical research at St. Joseph Health with research interests in the pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamics of antimicrobial agents, infection control and antimicrobial associated cardiac conduction abnormalities.

Dr. Samuel received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas &M Health Science Center, Rangel College of Pharmacy in 2014 and completed a PGY1/PGY2 Pharmacotherapy Specialty Residency at Texas Tech University Health Center. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Texas A&M University, Rangel College of Pharmacy. With a passion for developing students and residents through innovative teaching and research, she currently rounds with our family medicine team at St. Joseph Health and concentrates her clinical interests in adult internal medicine, neurology and pain management.

Dr. Hintze received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Idaho State University College of Pharmacy in 2019. He then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Hintze then completed a PGY2 in Critical Care at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Texas A&M University, Rangel College of Pharmacy. His current practice site is in the emergency department where he works closely with other healthcare professionals. He is passionate about pharmacist response to critically-ill patients, neurocritical care, and student and resident development. He also serves as the residency program coordinator and enjoys aiding the residents with their major research projects.
